About the Event
This is a social sail however we are looking to run a Getting Scramble starting at Mark 3, sailing to either Mark 4 or Mark 5 returning to finish at Mark 3 based on wind conditions for the day. What is a Getting Scramble you ask...? Named after Sailing Mentor, Geiman Award recipient and everyones friend Douglas Getting. If your boat leads the fleet by two boat lengths or more you must fall off to three positions to fourth position overall and attempt to recapture your lead.
BBq and Potluck to follow at South Shore Marina who has generously offered the space, grills and transient slips for the gathering.
